IMPORTANT: Cancellation of Holy Thursday and Good Friday services

Dear Grace Family,

It is with a very heavy heart that I write to inform you that I have tested positive for COVID19, twice. Yesterday and today. I have been having symptoms.

After discussions with those who might be able to substitute for me, it was decided that the special nature of the services tonight and tomorrow would not allow for someone to just step in and do them. That is why we are forced to cancel them.

I have been so incredibly fortunate to have not contracted COVID throughout the pandemic. My lucky streak seems to have come to an end. I have been fully vaccinated, so I am not worried about anything, but out of an abundance of caution, we have lined up a guest preacher for Saturday and Sunday. It is very fortunate we were able to do so on short notice…especially at Easter.

While this news is certainly disappointing, let us remember that Jesus said these things would happen (pandemics and such) but that we were to remain faithful to doing the work of spreading the gospel to the end of times. I pray that you will show up this weekend with hopeful, expectant, and JOYFUL hearts for the resurrection of our King, Lord, and Savior, Jesus Christ!
