GEMS and Habitat for Humanity Updates

Greetings!

We have updates on the GEMS Mother’s Day Shoe Gift Card drive from the Timmermans:

ATTENTION GEMS™:  We are off to a great start with 35  $25 Target Gift Cards.  We will collect through the 24th of May.  Either purchase on your own or donate with the instructions in the previous e-mail.  Question: Barbara Timmerman  954-566-9524.  We also are collecting diapers. Perry Canon has made a special request for MEN’S clothing.  Bring to church Saturday or Sunday and place in the Green GEMS™ box.  Many thanks.  We have also learned that a memorial service for Es Campbell will be in late June–will keep everyone posted.  Blessings

And, we have an update on the details for the Habitat for Humanity build coming up next weekend, May 13th from Kathleen:

Good afternoon fellow Habitators!

The next Habitat for Humanity build date is May 13, 2023 at 7:30am. 

We will be caulking and painting at the Rick Case site at

Address:1400 NW 6th Ave, Pompano Beach, FL 33060 
(grass lot across from the community’s main entrance by the laundromat)

Don’t worry!  As Pastor Myron mentioned, if you can’t paint or caulk, there will be a job for you.
