Important things this weekend! A Grace Wesleyan UPDATE

There are THREE very important things happening this weekend that I wanted to remind you of and to give you particulars on…
FIRST, our sisters and brothers in Christ in the Coral Springs area are forming a NEW CHURCH that is named Wesleyan Community Church! It will have its very first worship service tomorrow, March 4th, at 6:30 pm. They will be meeting at Hope For All Nations Church, 8181 N. Pine Island Road, Tamarac. They are renting space just like Grace Wesleyan did when we began 3 years ago! Please pray for them to have a Holy Spirit-filled worship service! Pastor Larry Bergstrom is the interim lead pastor of Wesleyan Community Church and has been meeting with people from FUMC Coral Springs, Cokesbury UMC, and other supporters for the last few months. Members of Grace Wesleyan have been supporting and encouraging them in a variety of ways, including prayer and monetary support. Please spread the word to those you might know in the Coral Springs/Tamarac area who might be looking for a welcoming, Bible-based, orthodox Christian church! May God bless them as they launch the newest Christian community in West Broward!
SECOND, The Women of Grace are having their “Paint a Scripture” day tomorrow, March 4th, at 2:00 PM in the gym. It is an invitation for the ladies in our midst to let their “inner little girl” come out and have some fun with scripture and a paintbrush! No artistic talent or experience necessary, as Janice Millican will teach the ladies everything they need to know to be able to express their spiritual creativity and make something fun and pretty! There are a few slots open, so if you find you can attend and have previously not signed up, please contact Annette Rhodes at annetterhodes1@aol.com, or send a text to her at 954-254-9840 and let her know you will be there!
THIRD, our own Donna and Patrick McCarthy are leading a food drive at the Winn-Dixie located in the Pepper Tree Plaza at 5600 West Sample Road, Margate, FL 33073. They will be on-site from 10am to 3pm. If you would like to assist them, please contact Donna McCarthy at 954-629-3647.
We will have our regular worship services this weekend at 6pm Saturday, and 9:30am Sunday!
