We have been invited to participate in the Bethlehem Revisited project in Coral Springs this Christmas. Please see the email message below from Janet Brockway from First Church, Coral Springs. Many of you know I was the executive director of the Bethlehem project for over six years. It is an incredible opportunity to serve, grow, and show Christ to the community and each other!
Janet’s message:
As you know, First Church in Coral Springs has been presenting the Christmas story for nearly 30 years. A re-enactment of Bethlehem as it may have appeared at the time of Christ’s birth. This all-volunteer outreach has had an average of 10,000 people per year come to hear the good news about the Savior Jesus Christ!
This event is completely free as we want people to hear the truth regardless of their income.
We would never try to recruit any of you for church membership as we know that you have a wonderful church home already. However, if you are longing to be a part of sharing the gospel story at Christmas time, we would like to invite you to an informational meeting with no obligation, to hear more about Bethlehem Revisited, and see if it is something that you would like to be a part of. We are opening this to be a community event of Christians who want to share the good news. There will be many different denominations, all with the same heart for Jesus.
If you are at all interested, please come to this informational meeting. There are two dates to choose from since we know that the end of the school year can be very busy. Date number one is May 31 at 7 PM (Tuesday ) in our sanctuary and the second date is June 6 (Monday) at 7 PM in our sanctuary. We will be able to provide answers to any question and the same information will be presented at each meeting so it is not necessary to go to both of them.

We have been closed for the last two years because of Covid and we would love to come back strong! This year’s dates for Bethlehem Revisited will be December 9 through the 13th. Five days in December. It is definitely a project worth doing!
